Collective Impact

The Daisy Cares Foundation is proud to have launched a much-needed program to educate youth on the impact of gun violence. This initiative was created to raise awareness, promote safety, and empower young people with knowledge that can save lives.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Broward Sheriff's Office, whose support made this possible through their Law Enforcement Trust Fund (LETF) grant. Their investment in our youth is an investment in a safer, stronger future for our entire community.
Together, we’re building hope, education, and resilience one young life at a time!

We’re proud to recognize Doc Holliday Firearms & Self Defense as a committed community collaborator in our mission to educate and protect our youth.

During our recent program, Doc Holliday captured the attention of young participants with an honest and impactful conversation about firearm safety. He connected with them through real talk—asking about their personal exposure to firearms and the experiences they've had in their neighborhoods.

His presence and expertise brought a powerful layer of awareness, responsibility, and connection to our youth education efforts.
Thank you, Doc Holliday, for being a trusted voice and advocate in the fight to prevent gun violence and promote safe communities.
Awareness

Our Commitment:

-
Mentorship that inspires and guides
-
Educational programs that empower and equip
-
Safe spaces that encourage growth and self-expression

We’re not just preparing youth for the next test—we’re preparing them for life. And it starts with this powerful message: Believe in yourself. You are capable. You are worthy. You are the future.

Our youth had an amazing and unforgettable experience visiting the State Capitol!

During their visit, they gained firsthand knowledge about how laws are made and the importance of civic engagement. They had the unique opportunity to tour the House and Senate chambers, where they witnessed the very spaces where decisions that shape our communities are made.

One of the most powerful moments was their participation in a mock legislative session. Our youth:

-
Drafted and presented a mock bill
-
Engaged in respectful debate and shared their perspectives
-
Cast their votes and experienced the democratic process firsthand
This experience not only deepened their understanding of government it ignited their confidence, leadership, and belief in their ability to make a difference.

At The Daisy Cares Foundation, we are proud to create opportunities like these that inspire youth to lead, learn, and believe in themselves.

Leaders Captivating Our Youth!
There’s nothing more powerful than seeing leaders connect with the next generation. During our recent Capitol visit, youth were inspired by passionate public servants who listened, engaged, and empowered them to dream bigger and speak boldly.
At The Daisy Cares Foundation, we believe when leaders invest in youth, they light the path for future changemakers.

We were honored to have Florida House State Representative Allison Tant speak with our youth during their visit to the Capitol. Representative Tant did a phenomenal job engaging with the group, offering valuable insight into the legislative process and thoughtfully addressing critical issues like safety awareness and gun violence.

Her genuine interest in the youth's concerns and her deep knowledge of policy and advocacy made a lasting impression. She created a space where our youth felt heard, respected, and empowered to ask important questions.

Representative Tant’s words encouraged our young leaders to stay involved, stay informed, and believe in their power to create change.

Thank you, Representative Tant, for your leadership and for inspiring the next generation of changemakers.
